Brunch at the Ritz

Sunday’s in New York are reserved for brunch in the city. Make sure you make reservations or have at least 45 minutes to wait for brunch because on Sunday every restaurant is packed. Also, be sure to gather a group of friends that will provide the latest news and gossip.

While the weather was not conducive on Sunday, I headed out to the Ritz by Central Park. The rain and cold couldn’t hold back my love for Sunday brunch. As I entered the Ritz, I was reminded the regal style of the hotel by greetings from the staff and the ambiance. I joined my friends for a brunch with for cupcakes and tea, but instead it became a full meal. The Eggs Benedict with spinach and a side of potatoes were a hit at out table. Also, if you aren’t in the mood for eggs, their waffles and French toast will hit the spot. The food is a bit pricier than most brunches, but lower than what I expected for the Ritz.

In addition, make sure you order the cupcakes and tea. The cupcakes are petit ones, but fill your pallet with an array of flavors. The cupcakes range from red velvet to coconut, each providing a sensational enlightenment to your taste buds.
